Perihelion Arts is run by Douglas Grant and Amy Young, and
has been serving art, literature, and entertainment to the Phoenix area since 2002. Perihelion Arts was named 'Best New
Gallery' of 2003 and 'Best Erotica' of 2004 by New Times.

The reception was during the Phoenix First Friday Art Walk, which was the most well-attended art walk I've ever seen. There was a constant flow of interesting folks coming into Perihelion from 6pm until 1:30am, and every gallery/bar on the street was packed. There was even a local chef cooking fantastic $5 omlettes in a gallery nearby (for which I was the first in line!)

A local screenprinter, Thaddeus of AntiConformityUSA, made a very small run of limited edition Perihelion Arts/Beautiful Mutants T-shirts, which turned out great. You may still be able to get these direct from Perihelion Arts, so contact them if you are interested.

Perihelion Arts will be showing Mark's Beautiful Mutants until December 30th, so please stop by if you are in the area.

I met so many great people. Thanks to every one of you for
making your way out to the gallery to see Mark's artwork.

There's fun to be had in Phoenix,
and I hope to be there for more again soon .
